Our History

  • Founded in 1962
  • The American International Women’s Association of Rabat is a non-profit, English-speaking organization that was started over 55 years ago by American women from the U.S. embassy.
  • Their goal was to encourage friendship through intercultural exchange and to provide community service.
  • AIWA-Rabat continues to this day as an association of women interested in friendship, cultural exchange, and helping with needs in the community through fundraising and volunteer projects.
