The Federation of American Women’s Clubs Overseas (FAWCO) is an umbrella organization which unites women from 76 American women’s clubs throughout the world. It is a non-profit, non-governmental organization which addresses issues of concern to expatriate Americans such as citizenship for those living abroad, taxation, voting rights, education, and the environment. Its philanthropic arm, the FAWCO Foundation, offers scholarships for high school, undergraduate, graduate and adult education plus stipends for those with special needs. It also contributes to relief and development projects throughout the world proposed by FAWCO member clubs.

Members of  AIWA are automatically members of FAWCO and are entitled to participate in and benefit from its activities as an information clearing house. All members are encouraged to go to the FAWCO website for additional information.
